to remember
The nation is invited to share their autobiographical memories in a new
BBC web survey, designed by Leeds' Professor of Cognitive Psychology, Martin
Conway.
It aims to explore British national identity by asking the public to record
their defining memories, including earliest memories, memories of life-shaping
events and recollections of the events that changed the world.
Over five months, Professor Conway will examine how the memories collected vary with age, gender, ethnicity, geographical region and personality.
To share your reminiscences visit www.bbc.co.uk/memory
The website also offers top tips on improving memory from psychology lecturer
Dr Chris Moulin. To learn more about the nature of autobiographical memories
listen to Professor Conway on the BBC Radio 4's Sharpen your memory on Wednesday
26 July. The programme is part of the Radio 4 memory season, which concludes
with an interactive BBC One TV show How to improve your memory
on Wednesday 9 August at 8.30pm.

been invited to join a senior working level business and government forum
which will help to promote UK financial services. The first meeting on 30

a great opportunity to promote financial and legal education, as well as
Leeds as a financial centre."
