Yongcheol Shin is to take up a chair in applied
econometrics at Leeds University business
school on April 1. He joins Leeds from the
University of Edinburgh. His major specialism
is econometrics while he also minors in macroeconomics
and international finance. He studied at Hankuk
University of Foreign Studies in Korea and
achieved his doctorate at Michigan State University
in March 1992.
