News in brief
Consultancy move

Consultancy management will transfer from Leeds Innovations (LI) to the University at the end of this month. From March 31, consultancy contracts will be administered by a new section at the research support unit (RSU) in Cavendish Road. A new University-owned company, University of Leeds Consulting Limited, has been set up to provide the contracting vehicle.

Margaret Herbert, contracts liaison at LI, is transferring to the RSU on March 25. Karen Ogier from RSU will be assisting her and a further member of staff will be recruited.

Staff with existing contracts managed through LI will now work through the new section in RSU. Anyone who wishes to use the service or find out more should email leedsconsulting@leeds.ac.uk after March 31 or contact Kathy Brownridge on 36050 (k.brownridge@adm.leeds.ac.uk) in the interim.
