Pay on its way

Following ballots, all the trades unions have accepted pay offers for 2002-3. Agreements cover all staff on nationally agreed rates (academic and related, clerical, technical and ancillary staff on standard grades) and provide increases of between 3.2% and 5% and assimilation to the new national spinal points. Academic and related and clerical staff will receive the increase at the end of October and technical and ancillary mid-November, backdated to August 1. Consultations are nearing completion over staff on locally agreed rates. The pay rates for all staff and grades are online on the HR website.
