Surf in your room

Students can now surf the internet, read email and access files from the comfort and safety of their own rooms in selected halls and flats. This service is available in the new Leodis flats on North West Road, Bodington hall and flats on Otley Road and Sentinel Towers on Burley Road.

Residential property manager Mike Leonard said: “The introduction of data cabling will improve student access to information sources, reducing the need for students to access the campus IT facilities out-of-hours.”

Plans are underway to connect all halls of residence to the internet within the next three years.
