The
University has created its own version of the Monopoly
board game, featuring landmarks from the city and
campus including the Old Bar, University Union, Hyde
Park cinema and the Great Hall in Mayfair's position
at £400.
Students
were quizzed by game makers Winning Moves International
over which sites should be included.
Developed
in conjunction with the alumni office, profits will
go to the alumni fund, which provides financial support
to current students. The game has already been
featured on BBC Look North and in the Yorkshire Post
and Yorkshire Evening Post.
The
University of Leeds Monopoly, priced £24.99,
is on sale in the alumni office, 36109 or in LUU and
toy and book shops in Leeds.
