New
appointments
A
new dean of medicine will join the University from
1 July 2002. Edward Hillhouse is currently professor
of medicine and director of the medical research institute
at the University of Warwick. He has played a major
role in the development of the Leicester Warwick medical
school, and helped to establish biomedical research
at Warwick.
Geography
lecturer Dr Mark Birkin has been appointed as director
of the informatics and research network.
Judith
Russell has taken a new role as head of equal opportunities
