  • Supermodel students
    There won't be any supermodel tantrums when Leeds students hit the catwalk for charity later this month.
  • A credit to SDDU
    The teaching qualification run by the SDDU has received official accreditation from the Institute for Learning and Teaching.
  • Joining committees
    University Librarian Jan Wilkinson is to join the HEFCE's newly estabished JISC committee for awareness, liaison and training.
  • Macmillan chief visit
    Macmillan Cancer Relief's chief executive Peter Cardy will visit staff at the University's Macmillan Education Unit on February 26.
  • Scourge of England
    Two diseases that were the scourge of Victorian England are the subject of a lecture by Leeds graduate and former lecturer Professor Mike Green.
  • Nobel cell division
    Nobel prize-winner Dr Tim Hunt will lecture at the University to celebrate National Science Week.
  • Periodical changes
    The library has now totally reviewed its periodical subscriptions.
  • Memorial plaque
    A plaque commemorating former professor Douglas Jefferson has been put up at the school of English, in what is now named the Jefferson room.
