Lord Winston lecture

Fertility expert Lord Winston has been invited to give a lecture at Leeds by the University Union's biochemistry society. The Labour peer is professor of fertility studies at the University of London's institute of obstetrics and gynaecology.

As a presenter of BBC TV's Your Life in their Hands and the critically-acclaimed The Human Body, Lord Winston has popularised biomedical sciences. He was made a peer in 1995 for his success in in vitro fertilisation and helping couples unable to conceive naturally.

The lecture will be held in the conference auditorium on March 11 at 3.30pm. Further information is available from Brian Burke on
