fire with drama
academics and Bretton students have joined forces to promote
fire safety amongst school pupils in Yorkshire. Undergraduate
students have written a play telling the story of a young
arsonist and the tragic consequences of his crimes.
students will tour shools in West Yorkshire from December
3-14, targeting areas prone to arson attacks.
chief fire officer for West Yorkshire David Monks said:
"The drama aims to promote fire safety to young people
'face on', in a way that they can understand and relate
to. We want to engage young people in debate and explore
the dangers associated with fire and arson."
