In good company

A new, tailor-made postgraduate diploma for managers from one of the world’s largest companies is being launched by Leeds University Business School (LUBS). Over the next five years, around eighty senior managers from rail operator Connex and Onyx waste management, subsidiaries of the world giant Vivendi Environnement, will take the diploma in business administration.

The course is being delivered in collaboration with the Institute for Transport Studies and School of Civil Engineering. Managers will study generic modules within LUBS and be offered specialist modules in transport studies or in waste management.

LUBS have also collaborated with the school of continuing education to deliver work-based postgraduate management diplomas and management graduateships for Yorkshire Water, and have developed courses for biotechnology services company Covance, and internet bank First Direct.
