Stuff not nonsense

A special CD has been produced for students, stuffed full of useful information. STUFF (Stufff To Use For Free) has been put together by the C&IT in the curriculum project.

The information on the CD is split into four categories: general University information, including useful telephone numbers, careers advice and the student handbook; course-related information, ranging from a gene cloning simulation to the spanish text of Don Quixote; information on IT and study skills; and software or technical information, either relating to specific courses, or more general advice about how to access University files and email from a home computer.

The CD is being sold at cost (£1.50) during freshers week, and will be available throughout the year from the ISS helpdesk. For an idea of what the CD contains, see the website at
