work with adult survivors of abuse is being offered by
the School of Continuing Education. The course, designed
for practitioners and supervisors who come across adult
survivors in the course of their work, aims to develop
the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to respond
sensitively and appropriately to survivors needs.
training will take place in Thirsk from September 2001,
and consists of 11 full day sessions. There will be an
open evening on Friday 22 June, 4 - 6pm. Details and further
