New field of training

One of the first training courses to help professionals who work with adult survivors of abuse is being offered by the School of Continuing Education. The course, designed for practitioners and supervisors who come across adult survivors in the course of their work, aims to develop the knowledge, skills and understanding needed to respond sensitively and appropriately to survivors’ needs.

The training will take place in Thirsk from September 2001, and consists of 11 full day sessions. There will be an open evening on Friday 22 June, 4 - 6pm. Details and further information from Nick Frost on ext 3204.
