All in a dream

A 'superb' performance by a team of Leeds MBA students has won a competition organised by the Financial Times. The winning team, 'Dreams Unlimited', examined the use of multilingual websites and their implications for businesses developing multicultural marketing strategies.

The 'Cross-Cultural Team 2001' competition required entrants to write a report on a theme of their choice inspired by the newspaper's 'Inside Track' section. Seven teams were selected as finalists to present their ideas on how that theme would affect organisations in the future.

The final was judged in the Business School's Yorkshire Bank Lecture Theatre by the regional and national representatives from the Financial Times, Allan Boyd and Chris Carden, and John Vaughan, managing director of Moving Forward consultants.
