All in a dream
'superb' performance by a team of Leeds MBA students has
won a competition organised by the Financial Times. The
winning team, 'Dreams Unlimited', examined the use of
multilingual websites and their implications for businesses
developing multicultural marketing strategies.
'Cross-Cultural Team 2001' competition required entrants
to write a report on a theme of their choice inspired
by the newspaper's 'Inside Track' section. Seven teams
were selected as finalists to present their ideas on how
that theme would affect organisations in the future.
final was judged in the Business School's Yorkshire Bank
Lecture Theatre by the regional and national representatives
from the Financial Times, Allan Boyd and Chris Carden,
and John Vaughan, managing director of Moving Forward
