Chinese generosity

A substantial gift of Chinese language materials, including books, tapes and videos, has been given to the Brotherton Library by the Chinese Consul-General in Manchester. Consul-General Yaoxiag Wang (pictured above left with University Librarian, Jan Wilkinson and Fu Yan Feng from the education section of the Consulate-General in Manchester) formally handed over the materials at a reception at the University. The donation recognises and enhances the importance of the existing collection of Chinese materials in the Brotherton.
