RESIDENT ADVISERS TO STUDENTS BRETTON HALL

POST A - MANYGATES CAMPUS

POST B THE LODGE & BRETTON HALL CAMPUS

Applications are invited from members of the academic and academic-related staff for two newly created posts as Resident Advisers to students of University of Leeds living at (a) Manygates Campus or (b) The Lodge/Bretton Hall Campus.

  1. Manygates Campus is situated within a ten-minute walk of Wakefield city centre and comprises of 366 en-suite single study bedrooms and 12 purpose built rooms for disabled students.
  2. The Lodge is situated in the village of Kettlethorpe, four miles from the Bretton Hall Campus and two miles from Manygates Campus and comprises 77 en-suite single study bedrooms. Bretton Hall Campus is set in a picturesque 500 acre estate and comprises 150 single study bedrooms in three-storey hostels. The Adviser with responsibility for these two sites will be based at The Lodge.

Primary responsibilities of both postholders will be the pastoral care of the student residents and the maintenance of discipline. An annual honorarium of 2,154 will be made, plus other benefits. The posts will be available from 1st August 2001.
