Celebrating its move to new premises on the fourth floor of the Parkinson Building with a buffet reception last week was the Centre for Medieval Studies. The centre was founded in 1967 to promote comparative and interdisciplinary study of medieval culture.
Headed by Professor Ian Netton, of Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies, the centre currently has ten doctorates in progress.
