New leaders for postgraduate lobby

Law student Anthea Connolly has been elected president of the Postgraduate Representative Council. Only one post was contested at the annual meeting on November 9, that of vice-president. Computer studies postgraduate Lee Bulmer was elected.

Last year’s president, John-Paul Rooney, took on the role of newsletter editor and former executive officer George Kainyek was elected treasurer. The PGRC also welcomed two more new committee members, Pinakin Dinesh and Adrian Furse, as publicity secretary and executive officer respectively.
