The University has emerged as one of the top three recruiters to the Institute for Learning and Teaching (ILT) in the UK, with 60 members to date.
The ILT as a whole has just passed the milestone of its 2,000th member. Launched last June in response to the Dearing Report, the ILT has been promoted at the University by the Staff and Departmental Development Unit. All staff with contracts to teach, including NHS clinical staff with honorary University contracts, can have the membership processing cost and the first year’s fee (£25 and £75 respectively) paid by the University.
Details are available from Chris Butcher and on the Institute’s website.
