ILT membership

Caroline Bucklow, Director of Accreditation at the Institute for Learning & Teaching (ILT), presented ILT membership certificates to twenty one staff at a lunch held in University House on 24 may.

These staff gained membership of the ILT by successfully completing the Postgraduate Certificate in Learning & Teaching in Higher Education (PGCLTHE) in 1998 & 1999. Over 70 staff will become eligible for membership of the ILT by the end of July as a result of passing the PGCLTHE. Caroline is pictured here with the new ILT members, John Macklin (PVC Learning & Teaching), Steve Higgins (Chair-elect of the programme Advisory Group) and members of SDDU who organise and deliver the PGCLTHE.

The University will pay the accreditation fee and the first year of ILT membership for the first four hundred staff who become ILT members.
