A masters in ‘the science of the very small’ - combining physical and biological sciences with advanced materials engineering in nanoscale science and technology - is now being offered jointly with the University of Sheffield.
The course is funded by the EPSRC’s new masters training scheme and has many potential applications, including ‘electronic noises’ and ‘lab-on-a-chip’ systems for medical diagnosis and automated drug delivery.
