Reporter 448, 6 March 2000
Help is at hand for staff wanting to make fuller use of communications and information technology in teaching. The HEFCE has recently earmarked over £500,000 for a University programme for C&IT in the curriculum.
Seven project officers - one for each faculty - are to be appointed to full-time posts, for two years initially (through internal advertisement, in the first instance). The flexible learning development unit will also appoint a C&IT learning resources prototyping officer to support the project. Interest in any of the positions should be made by March 10. For more details contact David Gardner ext 4038 (email@example.com).
For further information please view the following document c&it.htm which includes the original letter sent to heads of departments and job descriptions of the project officers
