Options to improve campus childcare services are under discussion. A recent survey showed that the building housing the Fourman Nursery has dry rot, and it is recommended the nursery be moved within six months.
Plans for a new nursery are on-going, estates director Robert Sladdin added. The favoured short-term solution is to provide a temporary building, probably on the purple zone car park. A more permanent solution will be found as soon as possible, he added.
