Running a marathon-relay may sound like a very bad idea to most of us, but a German tutor from the Language Centre was due to fly all the way to Japan to do just that.
Luckily the 'Ekiden' relay Anne Buckley is running in tomorrow sees the 26 miles split between the team, not a requirement for each of them. Ms Buckley is representing Great Britain in the event in Chiba, just north of Tokyo, against teams drawn from across the world.
