An association co-founded by a University researcher to promote better understanding of cultural issues in healthcare is now firmly on the nursing map. The transcultural nursing and healthcare association drew over seventy people to its recent annual conference, said Kathleen Price of healthcare studies. The association was launched last year to address issues raised by caring for a multi-ethnic community.
