Gloves come off in collection for Kosovo refugees

A lorry-load of aid from the University has been sent to Kosovo refugees. Student organisers of a collection on April 16 received so much food and clothing they had to request a bigger truck to carry it all.

"The response has been absolutely amazing," said Monica Llamazares, a founder of the University Kosovo Action Society. "One woman brought a bag of clothes and then asked if we were planning a second appeal. When I told her we weren't she took off her gloves and told us to take them too."
