Three Pro-Vice-Chancellorships have been approved by Senate.
Professor Chris Taylor currently Pro-Vice-Chancellor for IT and Facilities is to become Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Teaching and Learning, for the period to July 2000. He will remain responsible for administrative IT. Professor David Sugden is to become Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Staff from August 1. He will also be responsible for links with other HE and FE institutions.
Lynne Brindley, Librarian and Dean for IS, has been appointed Pro-Vice-Chancellor for IT from 1 August. Professor Tony May will continue as Pro-Vice-Chancellor for Research until 1999.
