Leeds graduate and Clothworkers Entrance Scholar Dr Geoffrey Tabbron has been made an Honorary Companion of the University of Manchester. Dr Tabbron graduated in Colour Chemistry in 1957. During the 1960s he helped to produce the University of Leeds first B.Ed course in collaboration with the late Professor Harry Irving. The award is in recognition of his role over 25 years on validation links between the University of Manchester and the Bolton Institute.
