Birth of a studio

A £5m conversion has transformed a former Wakefield maternity hospital into a new campus consisting of student residences, painting studios, computer suites and offices for University College Bretton Hall. The Henshaw studios in the Manygates complex were opened by the wife of the late John Henshaw, a past Chairman of Bretton Hall’s governing body. She said “it was at Manygates that my son was born so this is a particularly memorable event for me.”
