The serious business of having fun

Anila Durrani, wife of a Pakistani Masters student at the Nuffield and her two year old son Nabeel are making full use of the new International Students Centre, officially opened by the Pro-Chancellor last month. Facilities include a fitted kitchen, where international cuisine can be prepared and shared and a nursery for children. Fully-funded by the University, the Centre offers a social programme for international students and their partners and is open from Monday to Friday. Volunteers who can help in the Centre are invited to contact Betty Vaughan, Adviser to International Students, ext 3931.
