Career plans

Sir Ron Dearing visited Leeds in September to set out his recommendations for how universities should prepare graduates for their first and future career moves. Speaking at the Association of Graduate Careers Advisory Services Biennial Conference, Sir Ron (pictured above with Dr Richard Siddall, Director of the University Careers Service, and Margaret Dane, President of AGCAS) recommended that careers services take on a more prominent role within higher education and are integrated into the curriculum rather than being seen as an afterthought.
