An innovative part-time Masters programme in Colour Application Technology has been set up by the Department of Colour Chemistry. This EPSRC-supported scheme is taught by a combination of distance learning and short residential courses, and the first of these residentials took place at University House at the end of May. Five students, employed in various sectors of the colour-making and colour-using industries, attended seminars and practical sessions in introductory aspects of Colour Application Technology. The students also prepared posters and gave presentations on their course work, carried out during the previous four weeks of distance learning.
