Guidance on personal safety has been provided to all students at Clarence Dock following an attack on a female student late on the night of Monday April 21.
The incident took place on the towpath under Crown Point Bridge. Police are appealing for witnesses.
As well as receiving a leaflet advising on personal safety, residents of Clarence Dock will be addressed by police officers from Millgarth station and by the Student Union's Women's Officer.
