Hannah Maw is the first Master of Engineering student from the Civil Engineering Department to win a project competition run by the Yorkshire and Humberside branch of the Institution of Highways and Transportation. Her paper, Intermodal freight the invasion of the body swappers, was based on her final year project. She was presented with an engraved decanter.
