TV triumph

A programme exploring the life cycles of animals, birds, plants and insects made by Leeds University Television has scooped first prize in the multi-media category at the Educational Television and Media Association s annual awards in Bournemouth. Life Cycles, aimed at primary school children, comprises a videotape, CD ROM and literature. It is the first in the Living Library series produced in conjunction with the Cambridge-based company Living and Learning.

This is the fourth time the University has won the Association's premier award. Peter Coltman, Head of Television Production and Training, was presented with the award by Patrick Robinson who plays 'Ash' in BBC1's Casualty.
